I had a very interesting encounter this morning with my wife. I did a bit of wanking and asked not to orgasm.
She said she was confused. She commented that "if I get frustrated and an orgasm releases that frustration isn't that good?"
"I replied that it's just as good if not better when you get me aroused and I'm not allowed to orgasm."
"But sometimes you get so angry because you are frustrated."
"That's true but ONLY when you ignore me. Arousal/denial/frustration when you are actively involved is totally different than if you just ignore me."

I can't count the number of times I've told her that I just need her to be involved in our sex life and that teasing/arousal can be fun and potentially easier than having intercourse, etc (she doesn't have a libido.)
Over on the blog ATALLTIMES, there is a recent post about a commenter saying that he (AAT) should stop pestering his wife with emails/texts, etc to deny him. That "once" (telling your wife your needs) is enough. Ha! I couldn't disagree more.
Now, my wife may or may not understand. If she can find the fun and the ability to activate the sexual part of her brain is a totally different, and quite sad, issue.

Hi WSS, I was only thinking that you hadn't posted recently.
I hear what your saying, but in the same way that we can't understand why our wives don't get this, they probably don't understand what we want.
There is one thing explaining what it is that you need, it's another thing getting someone else to understand what we are saying. The problem is that we just don't sit down and spell it out in pain language, we tie it up with different words, expressions, little subtle hints or suggestions, and then wonder why their is misunderstanding.
Look at it from your wives point of view. For probably years your ultimate goal has been having an orgasm during some sexual encounter with yoru wife, and get frustrated when you don't have regular contact with your wife, then you change and want to be aroused and excited but then denied the one thing that you have always wanted, and then when your wife "gives" you what you seem to want, not to have an orgasm, you're still not happy.
I understand fully your need for acknowledgment, to be aroused, even teased and then denied, but does your wife. I agree it's not rocket science, but then again it's not always that easy unless you can explain it in very simple, if unromantic terms.
AAT: I have been even more explicit than you (and that's saying something:) in what I need and what I think would work for us.
The issue here isn't implemenation or acting upon the teasing and denying. It's that she didn't understand what I wanted.
WSS - maybe you're being too explicit, maybe your wife feels that this is all about you. Only you can know this, but it's a thought. If I have learned anything, it's that you can't just have what you want, you can't "make" your wife be dominant, it has almost got to be earned, in return for giving her what she wants.

WSS, I have been experiencing the frustration of ignore-and-deny for some time. The "tease" part is missing, but the deny is certainly there. I was going to comment on your plight, but my would-be comment became too wordy, so I decided to post it on my blog instead on April fool's day.

It took a while but my wife locks the bed room door and has me strip and powder, brush teeth etc. I then present to her hands behind back, then spread bottem and breath.
