Love, Honor and ?????
I found this pretty cool wedding/anniversary card. It showed a new bride about to get into the after wedding limo and it said, "Love, Honor and, well 2 out of 3 is pretty good."
I bought it for our anniversary and wrote in it that both our vows didn't include the word "obey."
Her only response was, "But you will obey me." Of course!!

Your wife's comment sounds like something I would say to my husband, casual with meaning behind it. I think that sometimes just the little comments I make seem to have more of an effect on me(I surprise myself) because they are natural and realistic, yet have so much true power behind them. I feel like when I "play" the boss(what I feel he wants to hear) I'm not being as true to myself. Ms. Lily

This blog was particularly funny for me. When my knight and I married, MY vows (we were in Barbados) were to love, honor and OBEY. I laughed in the middle of the ceremony - even pre-wife-led openness began. In retrospect, vows should have been reversed and it is now my knight's job to re-write HIS vows and present them to me.
